Our investigation revealed that from June 1999 to October 2002, at least $32,148 was embezzled from the Bowie Unified School District.  We submitted our findings to the Cochise County Attorney’s Office and on December 12, 2003, the Superior Court issued an indictment against the former business manager of the Bowie Unified School District that included one count each of theft and fraudulent schemes.
