The Office of the Auditor General has
performed audit work to address the 12 statutory Sunset Factors for the Arizona
Department of Agriculture. These factors accompany a series of seven
performance audit reports issued previously on the Department in 2000: the
Department’s Licensing Functions (Report No. 00-5); the Animal Disease,
Ownership and Welfare Protection Program (Report No. 00-8); the Food Safety and
Quality Assurance and Non-Food Product Quality Assurance Programs (Report No.
00-10); the Pest Exclusion and Management Program (Report No. 00-13); the State
Agricultural Laboratory (Report No. 00-14); the Commodity Development and
Promotion Program (Report No. 00-15); and the Pesticide Compliance and Worker
Safety Program (Report No. 00-16).
